Several illegal parking and illegal terminal spots in Pondok Pinang Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama, were controlled. As the result, five units of Metromini 72 Lebak Bulus-Blok M and three private cars were towed. 10 units of public transport were ticketed, 70 motorcycles were flattened, and 15 motorcycles were taken to urban village office.

Head Section of Monitoring and Handling for South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation, Edi Sufa’at, said the raid targeting Pondok Indah Hospital, illegal terminal in Pasar Jumat, illegal Metromini base on Jalan Sekolah Duta Raya and illegal parking behind Pondok Indah Mal.

“The raid is also based on citizens report. They complained about illegal parking and illegal terminal which often causing traffic jam,” he said, Thursday (7/14).

After the raid, his side will cooperate with hospital management to overcome illegal parking.
